When you enter the owner's pi-tag ID number here, you will be shown additional contact information which may help you to contact the owner more quickly.
You will then be able to send the owner a message by email, SMS Text or telephone. If you send an SMS text message, your contact telephone number will be sent to the owner's mobile telephone number.
We appreciate the efforts of anyone who helps to reunite someone with their pi-tagged items and will endeavor to reward anyone with a FREE set of pi-tag tags as soon as we can. Your contact details are recorded for this purpose when you send an owner a message.
We value your privacy and we will therefore always ensure that we act responsibly and correctly whenever we store any of your contact details on our servers. The pi-tag system uses 128 bit encryption, the highest level of security available. This ensures information is virtually impossible for anyone else to read. We also log the IP Address of anyone who registers or logs into the pi-tag system.
In order to protect your privacy, pi-tag.com requires you to register only your email address and country of residence. You do not need to register a mobile telephone number if you so wish.
pi-tag Ltd, trading as pi-tag.com is fully compliant and registered under the Data Protection Act 1998. We will always do all we can to ensure your contact information remains safe and secure.
Simple. Because pi-tag stands for Personal Identification Tag - and that is exactly what pi-tag.com is about.
Absolutely nothing! pi-tag.com is entirely free - we even use a freephone telephone number for finders to contact you. We aim to make money primarily from the sale of our tags (although you do not need to use our tags to tag your items - you can always make your own).
